5x Rust servers, charted

It means resource gathering runs at five times the vanilla rate: one tree gives five trees' worth of wood, and stone, metal and sulfur scale the same way. Many 5x servers layer kits, teleports or faster crafting on top. It is a modded setting, not something vanilla Rust offers.

By real player hours over the last seven days, taken from live server data. Paid placements play no part in the order. A server holds its position on continued play and climbs when its hours rise, so the chart ranks sustained interest rather than a single busy evening.

It varies by owner. Some run monthly wipes, some weekly, and others reset only at the forced wipe. Each row carries the server's published next-wipe estimate, so check that column before you commit to a base. A 5x server wipes on its own schedule, not Rust's.

Yes, but check the group limit first. Most 5x servers leave the team cap at Rust's default of 8, which means groups of up to eight. A few set it to 2, 3 or 4, which suits solo and small-team play better; filter by words in the server name to find them.
