Liner notes
Terms of use
By using Rust Server Rank, you agree to what follows. Read it once; it is short.
The chart is provided as it stands. We collect server data from Steam's public Rust server list and from the servers themselves, and we refresh it every five minutes. We work to keep it right, but a server can report a wipe late, publish a misleading name, or show a player count that lags behind. Treat each figure as a snapshot, not a guarantee.
Using the site. Browsing and comparing servers costs nothing. No account, no payment. Please do not send rapid repeated requests at our pages, because that slows the site for other players. If you want the full dataset, email hello@rustserverrank.world and we will sort something out.
Crawlers and AI tools. Search engines, bots and AI crawlers are welcome. Read robots.txt and llms.txt first; they set out what lives where. Keep your fetch rate reasonable so people visiting the live rankings still get fast pages.
Server owners. A server appears on Rust Server Rank because it is on the public list. Everything on its page comes from what the server itself publishes: name, tags, wipe times, player slots. To change what we show, change it on the server. Most edits reach us within five minutes. Ranks come from recorded player hours; no position can be bought. See advertising on Rust Server Rank for what paid placement does and does not cover.
Not affiliated. Rust Server Rank is independent and has no connection with Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.
Changes. We may change these terms without notice. The date at the foot of the page shows when they last changed. Keep using the site after that date and you accept the updated terms.

Questions
Can I get a server removed from the Rust Server Rank chart?
Servers appear because they are on Steam's public Rust server list, and we read what each server publishes. If the details on a page are wrong, the fix belongs on the server itself, and most edits reach us within five minutes. For anything else, email hello@rustserverrank.world.
Is the data on Rust Server Rank guaranteed to be accurate?
No. We refresh from Steam's public list and from the servers directly every five minutes, but wipes can be reported late and player counts can lag. Use the figures as a snapshot of how a server looked at the last refresh, and check the live player count before you commit to a wipe.
Can I scrape Rust Server Rank or use it with an AI tool?
Yes. Bots, search engines and AI crawlers are welcome, and robots.txt and llms.txt tell you what lives where. Keep your request rate sensible so ordinary visitors still get fast pages, and email hello@rustserverrank.world if you need the full dataset.
